SUMMER IN THE CITY

Hello!

Beaches, Snow Cones, Slip-N-Slides, Corn dogs, Barbecues...

The summer is time for relaxing with friends and family, enjoying long walks on warm evenings, and eating delicious food fresh from the grill. We hope you've been able to indulge in some of the best that the season has to offerWhile the NYSX team has certainly been taking the time to breathe deep, we've also been thinking about the mission we serve, looking ahead, and tinkering under the hood...and are excited to start sharing some of what we've been up to.

Most notably, for the first time in eight years, we have refined our Mission Statement. We view our Mission as the guiding principle behind each and every artistic choice. This new version captures and reflects the heart of the company we have become. Take a look and let us know what you think!

Of course, that mission needs support from friends like you to make it possible. We are in the throes of planning for a fantastic ninth season, so be on the lookout in the coming weeks for deeper details about how you can get involved. And while you have the lazy days of summer on your hands, take a look below at all the different ways you can contribute.

Our season will start in September with our signature ShakesBEER Pub Crawl, so save the date! In the meantime, have some corn on the cob and an ice cold beer, then join us for the fun as we launch into autumn in NY.

Until our next exchange,

Ross Williams
Artistic Director
